1. Information we collect

To provide, maintain, and protect Soulstrix, we may collect the following information depending on the features you use:

  • Account and contact information: email address, login credentials, nickname, avatar, language preference, membership status, and account settings.
  • Creation and interaction content: articles, chats, agent settings, topics, prompts, comments, uploads, shares, saved content, feedback, appeal materials, and related metadata that you submit, publish, generate, or store.
  • Public and sharing information: content you choose to publish, comments, profile display fields, share links, share-page access state, and public interaction records.
  • Device and log information: IP address, approximate region, device type, browser, operating system, access time, page paths, error logs, cookies, localStorage identifiers, and similar technical information.
  • Order and membership information: order ID, purchase time, plan name, payment status, refund records, and transaction status returned by payment providers. The platform generally does not directly store complete payment-card numbers.
  • Risk-control and moderation information: moderation results, risk labels, blocked or removed content records, violation counts, account restrictions, appeal handling records, and security incident logs.
  • Support and communication information: questions, attachments, contact details, and replies submitted through email or other official channels.
  • Sensitive information: Do not submit government IDs, precise location, health, financial account, biometric, religious belief, sexual orientation, minors' information, or other sensitive personal information unless a feature or support flow clearly asks for it and you choose to provide it. The platform does not ask you to submit such information in public content or prompts.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Create, maintain, verify, and secure accounts.
  • Deliver browsing, interaction, recommendation, creation, sharing, commenting, membership, and support features.
  • Run AI generation, content moderation, risk control, spam prevention, abuse detection, and security protection.
  • Process orders, renewals, refunds, billing reminders, and membership benefits.
  • Debug issues, analyze performance, improve product experience, and generate aggregate statistics.
  • Send verification codes, service notices, policy updates, security alerts, and support replies.
  • Enforce platform rules, handle reports and appeals, and protect users, the platform, and public safety.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations, regulatory, audit, tax, sanctions, export-control, dispute-resolution, and law-enforcement requirements.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, our bases may include performance of a contract with you, your consent, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital interests, public interest, and the legitimate interests of the platform or third parties.

3. AI, risk control, and third-party services

  • To provide AI generation, comment review, content safety, region restrictions, payments, cloud hosting, email, analytics, support, and troubleshooting, the platform may provide relevant information to necessary service providers, including model/API providers, content-safety and risk-control providers, cloud infrastructure providers, payment processors, email providers, and analytics tools.
  • When you use creation, chat, comment, sharing, or other AI-processed features, your prompts, inputs, outputs, comments, shared content, context, device logs, and risk signals may be sent to model/API or risk-control providers such as OpenAI for generation, moderation, safety checks, and abuse prevention.
  • Third-party providers process information under their privacy policies, data-processing terms, and our contractual arrangements with them. Under model/API provider policies, API data is typically not used by default to train models unless there is an explicit setting, authorization, or applicable policy stating otherwise. Safety, abuse-monitoring, and compliance logs may be retained by providers for a limited period under their policies.
  • We do not sell personal information, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our business practices materially change, we will update this policy and provide "Your Privacy Choices", "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information", "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information", or similar choices and opt-out methods where required by applicable law.

4. Public content and share links

  • Articles, comments, agents, topics, chat share pages, profile display fields, and other content you choose to publish may be viewed, saved, forwarded, screenshotted, or quoted by other users, share-link recipients, or anyone who can access the relevant page.
  • Even if you delete content, revoke a share, or the platform limits display, the platform may not be able to fully control or delete copies already saved, cached, screenshotted, forwarded, indexed, or reposted by third parties.
  • Do not submit sensitive personal information, other people's personal information, account credentials, payment information, identity documents, contact details, or confidential information in public content, comments, prompts, chats, or share links if you do not want that information to be public.

5. Cross-border transfers and processing locations

Because the platform, users, cloud services, model/API services, payment services, and safety services may be located in different countries or regions, your information may be accessed, stored, or processed in jurisdictions outside your location. We will use contractual, technical, and organizational measures to protect that information where required by applicable law. If applicable law requires separate consent, additional notice, or a specific transfer mechanism, we will handle the transfer accordingly.

For the United Kingdom, European Economic Area, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other regions that require cross-border transfer safeguards, the platform will use appropriate contractual terms, transfer risk assessments, vendor review, access controls, encryption, and data-minimization measures where applicable.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

  • We use cookies, localStorage, and similar technologies to keep sessions active, remember language and theme preferences, support security protection, preserve feature state, understand service usage, and improve the service.
  • You can restrict or clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings, but some login, security, language, theme, or interaction features may not work correctly.

7. Retention and deletion

  • We keep information only for the shortest reasonable period required for the purposes described above, then delete, anonymize, or otherwise handle it as required by law.
  • Account data, creation content, comments, chat records, share pages, and membership information are generally retained while the account or relevant feature remains active. After you delete content or an account, the platform will delete or anonymize information that is no longer needed within a reasonable period.
  • To comply with legal obligations, process refunds and accounting, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce platform rules, protect security, retain audit records, or cooperate with regulators and law enforcement, some order, log, risk-control, moderation, restriction, appeal, and security records may continue to be retained for the necessary period after account or content deletion.
  • Backup systems, caches, search indexes, email records, and public copies saved by third parties may not be deleted immediately.

8. Minors

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and is not directed to minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to the platform, please contact us through the official inbox, and we will handle the matter after verification as required by applicable law.

If the platform has actual knowledge that it collected information from a minor, it may delete the information, restrict the account, or take other measures required by applicable law. Minors' privacy and online-safety rules in jurisdictions such as the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia may require additional age assessment, parental consent, safety-by-default settings, or risk assessment. The platform is not open to minors until the relevant product and compliance arrangements are in place.

9. Information security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, permission management, encrypted transmission, log auditing, security monitoring, and least-necessary access. Internet services cannot be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. If a security incident may affect your rights, we will take remedial measures and notify users or competent authorities as required by applicable law.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent or submit a privacy complaint. To protect account security, we may need to verify your identity before handling a request. We may lawfully refuse or limit a request where identity cannot be verified, where the request affects others' rights, conflicts with legal requirements, interferes with safety or risk control, involves fraud or abuse, or where information must be retained to comply with legal obligations, and we will explain the reason where appropriate.

Depending on your location, you may also have the right to know the categories of personal information collected, used, disclosed, and retained; receive a portable copy; object to or restrict certain processing; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; limit the use of sensitive personal information; authorize an agent to submit a request; and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. The platform will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain if an extension is needed.

11. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as our products, service providers, laws, regulations, or risk-control strategies change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised version. Material changes will be highlighted in an appropriate way.
